I think your having firewall problems. try turning off firewalls, until u learn to modify them to let IE in its exceptions.

If firewalls are off and still nothing, then try to make SURE your connected to internet. if ur on wifi, use an eithernet cord to plug in and see if its a problem with your wifi.

If your computer still has no internet either through wifi or wired, try to reinstall IE,(download it from another computer and install it to yours.) or just try to use Firefox

If that still doesnt work u might have to try reinstalling the drivers for your wifi device.

If all fails……. then its a problem with your computer, (hardware wise) proabaly the wifi card.

Ok . As you know, malwarebytes Antimalware is a great free program. If you can get a flash drive and just copy the malwarebytes SETUP that should still be on the first computer where you installed it, maybe you can just bring the Setup over to that second cpu via thumbdrive.

When i had problems like this in the past, everytime i turned my cpu on, i automatically connected to a source through the internet that was feeding me more trojans. So whenever im dealing with a problem like this, when im running the scans, I UNPLUG THE INTERNET to ensure that viruses arent getting in. This program should do the trick.

When I had the blue screen of death, I actually reinstalled XP because i couldnt find another solution. If it gets bad enough, and you dont want to get professional help, you could wipe the hard drive (format it). The problem with that is that this is a computer from your job .

It is my firm opinion that it is a large scale spam operation (not to be confused with scam), which collects email addresses via "invites", and physical addresses by sending $1 out to its members. This information used directly by them, but rather, sold to less decent persons. It is practically the same as the freeipods scam of years gone by, where they sell the information to such companies as "RENEW YOUR AUTO WARRANTY". Additionally, the fact that they always appear to be out of "prizes" is kind of a red flag.

Before one of their astroturfers shows up and claims they get funding from Media, you should understand that companies have a legal duty to provide a profit to their investors. How are they generating a profit?
